The Sites: Structure and Examples
Site/Society Relationships
All individual history sites are part of a local organizing group, such as a school, a church or a local historical society. Some have web addresses (URLs) based on the local group, and some have URLs derived from The History Project. A directory or table of contents lists all the sites developed by the group.
Each site has a home page and an article list of a large number of stories about the person or other topic. The articles can contain graphics. In addition, each site can contain an image gallery with space for pictures, which can be extensively annotated for construct photo essays. Examples
The following sites' editors have given permission to use their sites as examples.
